Dear Parents, Students, and Supporters of our high school,
International High School of Wrocław, part of the non-profit organization Foundation of International Education (FIE / in Polish FEM), is a place where tradition meets modernity. As one of FIE’s three schools, we combine the Polish national core curriculum with two International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) programs: the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) for grades 1-2 and the IB Diploma Programme (DP) for grades 3-4. These programs provide students with an excellent foundation, preparing them to study at prestigious universities in Poland and abroad.

However, our approach to education goes beyond standard teaching. We value our high rankings among high schools, but we prioritize the holistic development of our students, believing that this is the key to success not only academically but also personally.
At the beginning of their education, we combine the Polish curriculum with the principles of the MYP to develop the versatility of our students. We teach them how to make informed choices and how to maintain a lifelong passion for learning. We cultivate the traits and skills necessary for living in a globalized world. In addition to a rich core curriculum, we continuously expand our extra-curricular project offerings and volunteer programs, providing our students with opportunities to gain experience beyond traditional learning.
Our priority is to foster reflection, openness to the world, and the ability to tackle challenges, as reflected in our educational program and IB Learner Profile. We ensure that our students are attentive, adhere to principles, and communicate effectively with those around them.
Communication is of paramount importance to us, which is why our school offers intensive English language learning: bilingual education in MYP and English as the language of instructions in DP. Mastery of English provides our students with the tools needed to study abroad, secure attractive employment, travel, and pursue their interests.
We also offer the opportunity to learn a second foreign language—German or Spanish. At the same time, we place great emphasis on the Polish language because we believe that the ability to speak one’s native language beautifully and correctly is a hallmark of an educated person.
Another key component of our program is the Wolves Athletic Program. Students participating in this program not only develop their physical fitness and explore various sports but also learn self-discipline, the principles of fair play, and healthy competition. This program allows them to delve into sports and healthy living within an intercultural context.
We also prioritize the intangible aspects of school life, such as a friendly atmosphere in the high school and supportive relationships between the staff and students, as well as among the students themselves.
I warmly invite you to explore our school’s offerings. I am confident that the International High School of Wrocław meets the needs of today’s students. This is evidenced by the outstanding results of both Polish matura and IB Diploma exams, as well as the academic and personal achievements of our graduates.
